Destaca la presencia de un gran n\u00famero de ciudades europeas, m\u00e1s adaptadas a la bicicleta que sus hom\u00f3logas americanas o asi\u00e1ticas. La clasificaci\u00f3n atiende a diversos factores como la cultura ciclista, infraestructura existente, percepci\u00f3n de seguridad, aceptaci\u00f3n social y medidas pol\u00edticas enfocadas a fomentar el uso de la bicicleta. En el caso de Espa\u00f1a, destacan Sevilla y Barcelona, en d\u00e9cima y und\u00e9cima posici\u00f3n, respectivamente.
