La Generalitat de Catalunya ha invertido 2.899 M\u20ac en este nuevo tramo metropolitano que transcurre por los municipios de Barcelona, L\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat y El Prat del Llobregat hasta llegar a las dos terminales existentes del aeropuerto del Prat, y pone en servicio 15 estaciones. La demanda potencial anual de la\u2019 L9 SUD\u2019 se estima en m\u00e1s de 23 millones de viajes.<\/p>\n<p>La \u2018L9\u00a0SUD\u2019 de metro es uno de los proyectos emblem\u00e1ticos contemplados en el Plan Director de infraestructuras de la Regi\u00f3n metropolitana de Barcelona que redacta la ATM de Barcelona. Es una l\u00ednea autom\u00e1tica, con alta seguridad, circular\u00e1 a \u00a0una velocidad comercial de 37 km\/h, con todas las estaciones y trenes accesibles, y permite ajustar la oferta a la demanda, adoptando diferentes configuraciones en funci\u00f3n de las necesidades de transporte. Por ejemplo, se podr\u00e1n intercalar trenes con el servicio ordinario para obtener intervalos de 4 minutos entre algunas estaciones como \u2018Aeroport T1\u2019 y \u2018Fira\u2019 durante eventos como cert\u00e1menes feriales o en fechas de gran tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo en el aeropuerto de El Prat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">La \u2018L9 SUD\u2019 mejorar\u00e1 de forma muy importante la movilidad en la comarca del Baix Llobregat, ya que de las 15 paradas, 6 son nuevos intercambiadores, \u00a03 de ellos con las l\u00edneas L1,L3 y L5 del metro, 2 con la red de cercan\u00edas de RENFE y 1 con la l\u00ednea L8 de Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat de Catalunya. El nuevo tramo mejora la movilidad local, dota de servicio de metro zonas residenciales en el Prat del Llobregat y en la zona Noreste de L\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat y facilita el acceso en transporte p\u00fablico a grandes centros generadores de movilidad como son el pol\u00edgono industrial de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, la Ciudad de la Justicia, Mercabarna, la Feria de Barcelona y las dos terminales del aeropuerto de El Prat<span style=\"line-height: 1.6;\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span
