Sin embargo, ha resultado un tema pol\u00e9mico en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. El pasado 1 de marzo se firm\u00f3 un protocolo de colaboraci\u00f3n para la conexi\u00f3n de estas dos redes de tranv\u00eda. Seg\u00fan este protocolo, el trazado de este tramo se definir\u00e1 en base a los estudios que el Ayuntamiento est\u00e1 finalizando y de acuerdo al Plan Director de Infraestructuras 2011-2020.
