El objetivo es el mismo que el que se persigue triplicando la red de carriles bici, ampliando la red ortogonal de bus o apostando por el tranv\u00eda: echar coches de la calle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Los veh\u00edculos cuentan con apenas un carril, y el resto del espacio, tambi\u00e9n el que hay en el centro de las intersecciones, es para peatones o bicis, siempre que circulen a menos de 10 km\/h. En total, se ganan 8.500 metros cuadrados. La idea es pacificar las calzadas y reducir el tr\u00e1fico a motor al m\u00ednimo imprescindible, tanto que ni si quiera los autobuses cruzan la supermanzana.<\/p>\n<p>El consistorio ha elegido el distrito de Sant Mart\u00ed para implantar hasta ocho supermanzanas. En el extremo suroeste de la ciudad, el tr\u00e1fico a motor en esta zona es notablemente inferior que en el centro de la ciudad. De ah\u00ed que se comience por las zonas donde implantarlas ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil, porque el modelo que este lunes arranca en el Poblenou ser\u00e1 mucho m\u00e1s complicado de aplicar en el Eixample.
