Se trata del Irizar i2e que hoy ha sido presentado por la Delegada de Medio Ambiente y Movilidad y presidenta de la EMT, In\u00e9s Saban\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>El Irizar i2e es el primer autob\u00fas urbano integral de tama\u00f1o est\u00e1ndar completamente el\u00e9ctrico y \u201ccero emisiones\u201d que presta servicio con viajeros en la flota de la EMT desde que la empresa municipal comenz\u00f3 a hacer ensayos con veh\u00edculos propulsados el\u00e9ctricamente.<\/p>\n<p>Este autob\u00fas forma parte de la apuesta del Ayuntamiento de Madrid y de la EMT para avanzar en la \u2018electrificaci\u00f3n\u2019 de la flota municipal dentro de su compromiso con la sostenibilidad y la b\u00fasqueda de alternativas para recudir el impacto del transporte en el medio ambiente. El objetivo de la EMT es seguir trabajando por un transporte p\u00fablico limpio, sostenible y poco contaminante en aras de una \u00f3ptima calidad del aire en la capital.<\/p>\n<p>El Irizar i2e es un veh\u00edculo est\u00e1ndar (12 metros de longitud) que cuenta con capacidad para 76 pasajeros (24 sentados). Est\u00e1 propulsado por un motor de 230 kw alimentado por bater\u00edas de sodio-n\u00edquel que proporciona una autonom\u00eda de entre 200 y 250 kil\u00f3metros, dependiendo del ciclo de conducci\u00f3n y de las condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas, es decir, entre 14 y 16 horas circulando con tr\u00e1fico urbano denso.<\/p>\n<p>Las bater\u00edas se cargan en las horas nocturnas (siete horas de recarga) y est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para almacenar toda la energ\u00eda proveniente del frenado del veh\u00edculo. Adem\u00e1s, los componentes de este modelo son reciclables, incluyendo las propias bater\u00edas.
