Y funcion\u00f3. Ha pasado poco m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o desde que las primeras l\u00edneas de buses metropolitanos ampliaran su recorrido hasta el centro de la ciudad, con paradas en Entrejardines, la Plaza de Ourense y la Plaza de Pontevedra, lugares donde es posible bajarse y subir para enlazar A Coru\u00f1a con los municipios del entorno.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta entonces los usuarios de ese servicio ten\u00edan que desplazarse hasta la estaci\u00f3n de autobuses, cogiendo all\u00ed otros enlaces. A la estaci\u00f3n sigue yendo, pero muchos clientes se ahorran el engorro del transbordo cuando quieren llegar al centro. El resultado es que en doce meses el n\u00famero de usuarios de las doce l\u00edneas incluidas en aquella primera fase ha subido un 10 %.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los autobuses metropolitanos (218 expediciones diarias) empezaron a acceder a la ciudad el 6 de noviembre de 2017. Se decidi\u00f3 dividir la operaci\u00f3n en fases para comprobar la afectaci\u00f3n al tr\u00e1fico por la llegada de los veh\u00edculos de transporte colectivo. La Xunta, impulsora de aquel plan a trav\u00e9s de la Conseller\u00eda de Infraestruturas, ha constatado un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s que no la hubo.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el a\u00f1o 2015, tras la puesta en marcha de diversos planes para incentivar el uso del autob\u00fas, la Xunta registr\u00f3 un crecimiento anual de pasajeros de un 2 %. De los 3.050.000 que hubo en las principales l\u00edneas metropolitanas en el 2015 se pas\u00f3 en el 2016 a algo m\u00e1s de 3.100.000. Esa progresi\u00f3n se rompi\u00f3 este a\u00f1o con la ampliaci\u00f3n de las rutas hasta las nuevas paradas. De casi 3,2 millones se pas\u00f3 a algo m\u00e1s de 3,5 millones en doce meses, 300.000 viajeros m\u00e1s. Muchos usuarios siguen viajando hasta la estaci\u00f3n de autobuses, bien porque all\u00ed cogen otros enlaces, bien porque ese punto de la ciudad est\u00e1 m\u00e1s cerca de sus destinos.
