Una infraestructura clave de la Comunidad de Madrid que utilizan cada d\u00eda 124.000 viajeros.<\/p>\n<p>El \u00e9xito de este intercambiador impuls\u00f3 la gran ampliaci\u00f3n de 2008 que lo convirti\u00f3 en un intercambiador de nueva generaci\u00f3n, con m\u00e1s de 46.000 metros cuadrados de superficie. Hoy es, por delante del de Plaza de Castilla, el que m\u00e1s viajeros gestiona en la Comunidad de Madrid, con 124.000 personas a diario y 32 millones al a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, la viceconsejera de movilidad record\u00f3 que \u201cla intermodalidad es clave en el desarrollo de una movilidad sostenible. Por eso se construir\u00e1 otro intercambiador en Conde de Casal, ligado a la ampliaci\u00f3n de la l\u00ednea 11 de Metro, de tal manera que todas las grandes entradas de Madrid ciudad contar\u00e1n con un espacio intermodal\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En la actualidad, el intercambiador cuenta con 46.000 metros cuadrados de superficie y en \u00e9l confluyen 2 l\u00edneas de Metro (la 3 y la 6), 19 l\u00edneas de EMT y 55 de autobuses interurbanos.<\/p>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos meses, y durante la pandemia de la Covid-19, se han tomado medidas excepcionales para reducir al m\u00e1ximo el riesgo de contagio, contando con desinfecciones diarias, reforzando continuamente la limpieza de aquellos elementos manipulables y aplicando producto de desinfecci\u00f3n en los equipos de ventilaci\u00f3n y
